Emma is my first show dog in the United States. Initially, I dreamed of owning a male dog that could compete in shows. During the five-plus years of waiting for that special show dog, I saw many litters of puppies. While they were all outstanding, none of them felt like "the one" to me—until I met Emma. From the moment I saw her, I knew she was my dog.
I’ve taken Emma to many shows. When she was just five months old, I brought her to the Albany BPP competition, where she earned BBIS. At eight months old, her breeder, Anne Summers, guided her to win Best in Futurity at the BMDCA National. Emma loves showing and always brings joy to the ring.
At just 16 months old, Emma won her first Group 1 at a show in Puyallup. Since then, we’ve been ranked in the Top 20 four times and have achieved multiple BISS and BIG1 awards.
Emma is now a Versatility Dog. With the help of her aunt, Linda Dalton, Emma earned her CD and Draft titles. She is also the proud mother of Lily and Mulan.
